Certificate Advanced Counseling Practice Certificate

The Advanced Counseling Practice Certificate is a 12 hour certificate program that allows students to complete additional coursework needed for their professional endeavors. 

Admissions

1. Master's in counseling or closely related field 
2. Eligibility to pursue the Licensed Professional Counselor in the Commonwealth of Virginia
3. Evaluation of all graduate transcripts and resume or vita by program faculty for fitness within the scope of the certificate and future practice as a licensed counseling professional
4. Criminal background check consistent with criteria for license eligibility
