The School of Exercise Science offers both Bachelor of Science (BS) and Master of Science (MS) degrees in Exercise Science. Faculty in the school also teach and supervise students in the Kinesiology and Rehabilitation PhD program and in the Doctorate in Applied Science in Kinesiology program, both administered through the College.

Linked Bachelor of Science in Exercise Science to Master of Science Program

Exercise Science students who meet all the following criteria may complete the Bachelor of Science to Master of Science linked program application:

Junior Standing
Cumulative 3.20 or higher grade point average
Completed preliminary coursework: EXSC 326 Exercise Physiology I and EXSC 322 Anatomical Kinesiology and Musculoskeletal Injuries

This program allows exceptional undergraduate students the opportunity to take up to 12 credit hours of graduate course work and apply them to both the undergraduate and graduate degrees. Students in the linked program must earn a minimum of 150 credit hours (120 discrete credit hours for the undergraduate degree and 30 discrete credit hours for the graduate degree). This would allow the student to complete both degrees in approximately five years. Once accepted, students will be required to maintain a 3.0 GPA in all coursework. Consult with the undergraduate program director for more information on how to apply.
